    Tate Modern schedules first Monet exhibition for spring 2027

    *Monet: Painting Time* is planned to bring together more than 60 paintings, including 20 Water Lilies, while Tate conservators remove yellowed varnish from a collection picture.

    The reported €150,000 agreement brings the work into the city’s Renaissance museum, with its artist and original church still unresolved.

    Rijksmuseum and Mauritshuis buy Avercamp from a British private collection

    The former Speelman painting will return from its Houston loan for a Dutch museum tour. Artnet reports €11.4 million, while the vendor and intermediary remain unidentified.
